Introduction
Welcome to the family web pages of the Estey, Diffenbaugh, Reese, Danforth, Lane and Meyers descendants. This family has a colorful history that traces back to the 1400's and includes Revolutionary War and Civil War soldiers (both North and South by the way). A supposed Salem witch (who was hung). She was not a real witch, but a Godly woman. You can find her very interesting story under name, Mary Towne wife of Isaac Estey.

The "home card" starts with Grandpa Edgar Diffenbaugh Meyers. You may easily go forward or backward from there otherwise use the index to find the persons of interest.

A note on the surname “Estey”. In the documentation of Mary Towne Estey's famous Salem Witch trial, the name Estey was spelled: Easty, Eastie, Esty and Eastick. The latter two, being in Mary's own hand.

Also, I have added the Danforth line, which joined us through my parents, Charles and Elaine Reese. One of the Danforth's founded Harvard College.

This last update I was able to trace the Reese line back to the early 1700’s. One, William Reese was a Confederate soldier with the 19th Arkansas Infantry. He survived the war and came back home and become a respected doctor.

Please report any corrections or additions to Nick Reese.
If your picture is missing, you need to send it to me. I have been using wedding pictures as kind of a standard, but any picture is better than no picture. Thanks for viewing and have lots of fun.
